University Motor Pool

Want to get paid to wash cars? The University Motor Pool is recruiting to fill multiple student laborer positions. Starting wage is $8.50/hr.

These positions perform the following duties:

• Vehicle Detailing (check-in, cleaning, fueling, parking, etc.)
• Customer Service (fuel vehicles, customer transport, errands, answer phones, etc.)
• Building/Grounds Maintenance (landscape, shop cleaning, etc.)
• Special Projects  

Requirements:
The ideal candidate should be reliable, self-motivated, and have a positive attitude. Additionally, applicants should meet the following requirements: 

• Must be available to work evenings until 8:00 PM or mornings starting at 7:00 AM.
• Be 18 years old and possess a valid Oregon Drivers License
• All applicants must be a current student at OSU and taking at least 6 credit hours.
• Be comfortable working in an outdoor environment and be able to lift up to 40lbs unassisted.  

Position Details:
Student Laborers should be able to work a minimum of 15 hours per week during academic terms and at least 30 hours per week not to exceed 40 hours per week during the summer and breaks. Hours: Monday-Friday available from 7am-5:30pm (7am-8pm beginning 4/1/2008). Reasonable accommodations for school, vacation or other leave time will be made.
